Kate Ruggeri is a young, Chicago-based artist who has been finding a strong voice for herself by way of multiple gallery shows around the city. Combining both painting and sculpture, Kate creates humorous work that glorifies the mundane and often anti-heroic aspects of our daily lives. Her work, which is currently on display at LVL3 Gallery in Wicker Park, has grown immensely since graduating from The School of The Art Institute of Chicago.
