If you had to explain your work to a stranger, what would you say? Techno coral, rotting star ship, talking flower, mind ooze, serif of decay
What materials do you use in your work and what is your process like? I am very messy; I do a lot of pouring and cutting. I use cardboard, steel, paper, pins, Plexiglas, spandex, foam, wood, paper, and whatever I can get my hands on. I work my materials until they are no longer recognizable as what they were.
How has your work developed within the past year? I have learned a lot about my process over the last year, about artistic euphoria and self doubt. No matter what you think about your work you just have to keep making and pushing. I look for things that show there true nature. For me those things are not untouched products but creations that have been made over time, that display change, crisis and development of character in themselves
What artists are you interested in right now? So many, check out my tumblr page.
If you had one wish what would it be? I want to own a big studio, tons of tools and have plenty of time to make art. I also want to have my own assistants.
