LVL3 is excited to present Never Far Away, a three-person exhibition featuring Morgan Blair, Francesco Lo Castro and Zoe Nelson. Blair’s multicolored paintings act as fragments taken from everyday events, mixed with the absurdities seen in popular culture. Lo Castro’s layered abstractions pull together intricate networks of lines and colors while holding onto a much deeper past of emotional moments. Nelson’s vibrant surfaces evoke a sense of anxiety and pleasure through the voids and overlaps presented in her paintings. Connections to our past, present and future exist independent of our cognizance. Never Far Away connects these artists’ feelings, memories and reactions into new forms of communication via mark making and layering of pigment that takes us back to familiar forms.
